Stuart Mason Great North Run


21st September, 2011, Stuart Mason, a headteacher from from Thirsk, North Yorkshire ran the world's largest half marathon, the Great North Run Half Marathon. Stuart, a former university friend of Alex's dad, Tim, took up the challenge to complete his run after learning of how others had been raising money in menory of Alexander. Along with the 56,000 others who took part on the day, Stuart ran his race happy in the knowledge that his efforts had already seen nearly £1,137 (including Gift Aid) being raised on his justgiving page with further offline donations to be added.
